If the mall hadn't done anything, a fight broke out, and someone had gotten hurt, think an appeal to the first amendment would impress the injured person's tort lawyer?

OK, fair enough. I'm a reasonable person. If that is indeed what they were doing, creating a disturbance and making customers uncomfortable, then they deserve to have been removed by security. The press reports that I read up to this point said nothing of that sort. The men said they were just shopping and eating while wearing a PEACE tee-shirt. Activities I support in a free society.
