CEO did say he would be sharing new data. But every shareholder legitimately disgusted with management in this case. New data is not going to do squat.

Also, specific reason, as picked up by dow jones and as stated on CC, for backing out was:

"Unfortunately, yesterday evening we received a letter from one of the companies that they would no longer pursue a partnership on oral insulin because of a combination of high resource requirements in a limited resource environment and the partner's perception of expected development time and the probability of success," Mr. Goldberg said.

Now that is also the language of a lawyer's letter wanting to make sure after 16 months of manipulating emis like a schoolboy that there is no bad faith negotiation claim, but whoa the truth hurts sometimes.
