There's a guy making the rounds of talk shows to promote this book, The Hunt for Bin Laden. amazon.com He's not the author, but he's a major player in the book. A former Green Beret, he re-upped after the attack on the trade towers. I heard him on Imus yesterday, he has a great story to tell. He is the real deal. These Special Forces guys are something else. As soon as they arrived in Afghanistan, they immersed themselves in the local culture and went native, most of them could speak the language. 200 Green Berets and the Northern Alliance did in a couple of months what the Russian army failed to do in 10 years! btw, this guy thinks bin Laden is dead.
