It like comparing the opinion of experts on make belief, actors with the opinions of real experts who have created the technology and economy that support the experts on make belief. A video game is a canned movie and SGI creates actual reality and can render in place real time events like other aircraft and missiles. Also real time weather conditions or predicted weather conditions. This has enormous value in any real deployment of ordinance or people. It about having all the visual cues in place to know exactly where you are and the option paths available. A person with the ability to see the real rendered terrain can come to know an area even better than someone who has lived there with only a flat earth perspective. If you cannot understand the complexity of rendering what reality will really look like vs some canned and programmed make believe, then the opinion of an expert on making it up is the same as that of a person who has been there and done it.
