Philv, you wrote to Slider saying: “ You are a very good writer, and have made some clear projections and assumptions.” You don’t understand what is going on with Slider. Several years ago he made a series of daring and prescient calls --- especially the brilliant one in which he pounded the table for a switch from black to yellow gold. During those times, Slider was authentic. He was responding to what he really saw, felt, believed. Now Slider has become inauthentic. He is responding not to what he sees and thinks and believes--- but rather, he is responding in such a way as to try to capture once again the fun, the high-jinx, the hilarity, the rush that comes from being for a moment at least master of the universe. Slider today has lost himself, and is now copying the style of another person. That other person is….. of course …..the Slider of two years ago.
