My friend 'SaintAndre' posted this link to the Valence exhibit at Demo 2003, on Yahoo. Look at picture no. 10.

I would guess the battery cells are in the boxes below the rack which presumably contains the control electronics and charger. Wonder what the capacity of this particular setup is? Looks like a very modular approach as the capacity can apparently be varied by adding battery modules. Pretty neat!
