He is like almost every other liberal democrat. He comes to the middle to get elected then returns to the left after the election.

The ADA (Americans for Democratic Action) gives Kerry a 85% rating on his 2002 voting record. Kennedy gets a perfect 100%, Daschle 85%, Feinstein 80%, Boxer 90% and Edwards 70%. McCain gets a 20%.

Face it, Kerry is a liberal. He should embrace it. He actually has no choice. In order to win the nomination, he is going to have to run a campaign that is left of center and it is going to be hard for him to tack to the center.

BTW, there is no way in hell that McCain would run on a Kerry ticket.
