how can they drop bombs when they no longer have an air force?

they might not have an Airforce as we know it.. But they do have airplanes, how many times have you heard UN/US planes defending Iraq violating into the 'no fly zone'.

perhaps it lost something in the translation.. Does say that "Some oil-bearing wells were mined with antitank mines.".. so perhaps 'dropping bombs' was just someone pulling the trigger..
