read something like that about Americans in Europe
in USA Today recently. But, I also read that there was surprising support for Americans in general vs. for the Bush admin.

I think many Europeans genuinely like Americans, but
don't like Bush.

sy harding has a service, and written a book re: times to be in and out of the market...well-thought out, relatively straightforward TA

while i no longer subscribe, and in the absence of a "monster war rally", my impression based on timing models is that the DOW has peaked until the fall

Ratdog, on the buy/sell theory, I believe two of the months are buy around Sept. and sell January. Do you mind sharing the other time period for buy/sell. thanks, GR

I am out on the streets of Amsterdam every day and no one has directed a single ill word my way. If the topic does come up, Europeans mostly understand the difference between Bush the president and American citizens. They don't see themselves as linked to their politicians; a French woman I saw recently said the concept was ridiculous. They thought Americans were pretty foolish for doing it.

I see more Americans whipping themselves into a frenzy based on the anecdotes they can find rather than any systematic patter of anti-American actions.

Why don't you pop over to Europe for a few weeks and check it out? Nothing like firsthand experience to decide if a headline is true. The market sucks right now anyway.

As far as ratdogs go, I picked up some PACW yesterday. I believe you already know TRIB pretty well, I am late getting in there.
