Karen,
I have believed from the outset that there are iraqi plans, things it development etc, things that the US govt wont tell us, that made saddam an immediate target once we were awakened. In that sense, a thank you should be offered to bin laden for the wakeup call. I cant imagine them antraxing israel in the way you described. They would be totally nuked in such a scenario and will have gained nothing. These systems are supposedly designed for israel and the US, but in fact if they exist, they are for the bordering mideast states. And although the iranians, saudis, etc. cant say it publicly, they need saddam removed more that we do.
I also believe there is one final massive effort to get saddam either to go into exile with a free pass or step down and be replaced with a better govt. As certain as it looks like war is imminent, thats how certain i am that behind the scenes intrigue is going on as we speak. We will see. mike
PS re: drones. Think offshore and miniature planes with bio weapons with gps capabilities. They probably arent there yet, but maybe close. Who knows.

KLP,

I believe that Colin Powell claimed they had evidence of drones being tested successfully at 800 mile distances in Iraq. Those were continuous 25 miles loops so real world might be less.
