I was interested in any liberal's take on that story, and most particularly, an explanation, or even a guess, as to the thought process that may have preceded erasing Rather's Arabic/English translator's voice and replacing it with an actor that doesn't speak Arabic.

I'd like to know who made that call, and what exactly their real purpose was. These people just don't seem to get it.
