The revenues are below what most people expected. The expectation was that the range would narrow on the high end. Instead, it narrowed in the middle.

Additionally, GM is on the low end of expectation.

INTC had a run up in last few weeks because of analyst upgrade. Those analysts were expecting Intel to raise the bar at mid quarter update. I will not be surprised to see INTC goes to low 15's in next few weeks.

I am not a big fan to write LEAP as you do. It seems to me that to write a short term covered call makes more sense. I do not mind to lose my INTC shares as many of you do. If the shares are called away, I will write naked put, which is basically the same as covered call. If you can make average of 5% return every month from option premium, it does not take long to cover your opportunity loss when your shares are eventually called away some day. With US economy in mud I do not see that day come soon.
