if i can't help PartyTime get intellectually honest with himself and answer to some of his irresponsible statements i won't be able to bring him to any Red Sox games this year

he used to go to about a dozen games a year and a number of playoff games

which means, with his luck, that they will probably make it to the world series
-g-

darn shame, really -lol-

So really horrible people are the only people who know how to deal with bad people- and you suggest that you, yourself, are here to show us how it's done? How are really horrible people going to make the world safe? I mean, you've admitted only bad people (or "not nice" people) can take care of other bad people- so these bad people, you think they'll be able to set up a good world? Perhaps bad people dealing with bad people only make the world worse. Perhaps they create bigger weapons, and more clever weapons, because they under the delusion that winning, even a war that is not worth winning, is preferable to peace.

"... the underlying problem here is that nice people really don't know how to deal with bad people "

I can't say I agree with your analysis of the underlying problem. I think the underlying problem is a failure to logically assess risks and benefits.
