Some of us wouldn't mind it that way... granted, some of the things you're talking about are silly, but not all are.

Is it a violation of the Establishment Clause for government employees to have a day off for Christmas Holidays? Why/Why not?

Many would. You see where I am getting at? Someone is going to be offended no matter what. And someone's child is being "indoctrinated" with something you might consider offensive.

They had an episode of South Park one time where they tried to hold a Christmas celebration in town. Unfortunately, in an effort to remove anything offensive to anybody, they pretty much stripped down the entire show until Mr. Hanky was the only non-offensive thing left. And that's pretty ironic considering that Mr. Hanky is a piece of fecal matter.

There's a subtle warning in that not-so-subtle episode. Do you see it?
