Not so fast.

Meanie!

Do you or don't you think it would be a sin for a lawyer or a doctor, having taken a professional oath, to fail
to put his client first?

Yes.

But. (You knew there had to be a but, didn't you?!!)

If you are a true evangelical, you see the person's soul as more important than their wallet or their body. So maybe you do something that damages their wallet or their body but saves their soul. You or I might think that was failing to put the client first, because the client might not WANT his soul saved. But that's just his ignorance. You as the evangelical lawyer or doctor know better, know that sometimes you have to kill somebody to save them. And doing so is truly in their best interests, because they will live in Heaven forever instead of having a short-term earthly benefit but burning in Hell for all eternity.
