<It shouldn't take 3 weeks to order a computer from dell.com but apparently it does. $%&^! > Ok so what is that telling you? My date was 2 weeks. I expect it a bit sooner though. #1 It tells me there is demand. Enough that a production backlog exists. #2 It tells me the inventory is running lean on certain items. Seems certain configurations affect the shipment date. Maybe inventory is too lean? #3 It tells me that Dell is fast becoming the preferred choice for what buyers remain in the pc market.
