Clinton's legacy? Funny, but Clinton had been out of office for 9 months. Bush had plenty of time to prevent 9/11/01 from happening, even if Clinton was remise on chasing down terrorists during his two terms. It happened on Bush's watch. Conservatives have to accept the responsibility (isn't that a word they love to lecture us all about?). The buck stops there. The question I was raising is what the hell were they doing to protect us on that fateful day? Not much from I can see. Bush and his team dropped the ball on 9/11/01. And that has nothing to do with a President who was out of office for the almost entire year.
