I am serious. I wouldn't say we wouldn't like to have a military presence there for a good long time - of course we would. Look at Germany - Over half a century and counting. Look at the work of the "new rule sets" task force at the naval war college and you will see exactly what we are doing and why - not just in Iraq but world-wide.
