mish, they may or may not have hedges but those hedges won't effect the REVENUE line.

most companies also have 'natural' hedges in that they also have operating costs in those foreign currencies (i.e. non-US operations); costs that go up in the same proportion as revenue if the foreign currency increases.

on an EARNINGS basis, i don't think FX is really adding a whole heck of a lot; i'm more interested in how it distorts the REVENUE picture that a company is giving.
