JP:

Many thanks for posting this info. It parallels precisely what I am observing right across N. America.

Software engineers who a couple of years ago were up to their ears in work are now out there banging on doors for ANY kind of employment,..... and unfortunately finding very slim pickings.

It is almost as bleak across the electronic engineering turf as well. I know hundreds of good engineers who have been unemployed for many months now, in spite of being happy to relocate, take major cuts in expected remuneration, etc. Some of them have been forced to take on low level service employment, just to keep food on the table.

Not much fun to move from a comfortable living to having trouble making ends meet, but there will be many more in this boat before we see any turning of the economic corner.

Meantime the jackals of Wall Street maintain the baloney barrage in full gear, ensuring that even greater numbers of citizens get taken to the cleaners. I hate them with a passion and can only hope that most of them in the end will suffer a similar unemployed fate.

Best, Earlie
