It's obviously not unconstitutional, so the argument is moot.

I agree. No way in hell is the Supreme Court going to let this absurd ruling stand.

The facts are that this country was founded on some basic Christian principles. You don't have to believe in them, that is your right. But trying to pull them out after the fact is wrong IMO.

Whether the country was founded on Christian principles or not, it is not a Christian nation or even a theocracy. Expecting people to say "under God" is the equivalent of asking Jews, Muslims, Buddists and atheists to attend a party where prayers about Jesus are to be featured. The non Christians in our society understandably are insulted......so its not a moot issue.

I don't know where I stand on the issue of a supreme being but I can tell you that if I conclude there is a supreme being, he/she won't be a Christian God or a Muslim one or a Jewish one either. How humans abuse the good name of surpreme being is disgusting.

And as for the US .........we are a secular nation and we should act accordingly.
