WEL had a decent move the past few days.. Yes, the coincidence! When the Prez mentioned free trade last night I laughed.
I have a friend who owns a company that makes little stainless steel springs, the kind used in spray cans.
They made 4 billion of them last year.
The special steel wire they use is not made in the US.
The steel tariff the Prez put in place were going to put him out of business, so he thought and came up with a great idea. He bought a small Northern Italian metal company and now does not have to worry about the punitive steel tariff as he just ships it inter-company himself from his Italian subsidiary. (the loophole)
The upside for me is I get to use the Villa that came along with the deal....

Sons of Osama bin Laden were arrested in southeastern Afghanistan, a Pakistani provincial minister said Friday.

"They were arrested from Rabat area in Afghanistan," he said in a telephone interview. He did not identify the sons, but said that seven other al Qaeda men were killed in the operation.

So, things are ok now?
