Actually, I was not even necessarily advocating that they should be drafted as infantry. Nor do I want them in the position of playing "video game" as you state. But I think at the very least they should be part of the second wave of infantry that enters the area. They could inspect and report findings. They could engage in moral boost for the soldiers. They could see to it that civilians are not treated as they were in Viet Nam. The key here is that they should have up close and personal experience with the war. The benefit to our people is that their daddy's who are sitting all high and mighty will have a more realistic perspective on consequences of their actions. Otherwise, what will be their motives for being wise? And how will they ever learn from mistakes?
