100% right. It shows guts and leadership. We'd have never seen this from Gore. I for one am proud of the way we've handled this thus far. Its taken longer than I had hoped but one by one we will bring these sh!tbag terrorists to justice. Countries will realize....as you put it:

the price of harboring, arming, financing and otherwise assisting terrorists is prohibitive.

Perfectly said

Well then. Where is the next stop:
go.hrw.com
You have essentially offered a prescription for perpetual warfare -- without ever achieving "true security." In the wake of 9/11, just as one example, the country was terrorized by anthrax in the mails. Where did that come from? Who was behind it?
Prior to 9/11, the greatest terrorist act in the US was perpetrated by Americans in Oklahoma. I presume, then, you support vast expansion of the domestic penal apparatus to handle our home-grown terrorists.
So the future world vision you are offering is one right out of 1984. A perpetual war against an ever shifting "enemy" defined by the government; plus an American gulag to house those deemed a threat.
Thanks, but no thanks.
