"Has Saddam sold WMDs to any terrorist groups ever?"

We don't know either way, though I suspect some of his deadly chemicals have left Iraq.

"4) Do terrorists need Saddam as a source of WMDs?" But we know he's got them and why wouldn't he share"

"Do religious fanatic groups and Saddam have an affinity?
....No. They rather detest Saddam's regime because it is secular." Perhaps, but you know the old saw, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

"this is hardly an argument for invading Iraq as a means of making the world safer for Americans." Well, as you know, I disagree. I hope, that the war will be short, that few lives will be lost and the Iraqi people will hail the U.S. as a friendly liberator.

I see Saddam the same way as I viewed Milosevic. Saddam plays an important role creating instability in the middle east. Helping to create a democracy in Iraq will benefit American interests in the middle east and benefit the american people.

I guess I could be wrong, but I doubt Iraqi conscripts are willing to die or put up much of a fight for a leader they despise.
