Look I hafta say I agree with Bush's war. Any thinking American must agree that this guy is a monster and must go...But Saddam is a bad guy too.

That seems like a sensible way to be when sending hundreds of thousands of people off to start shooting at and killing other people and being shot at and killed.

I far prefer scared and unsure to cocksure, full of hubris, "leadership", arrogance and devil may care.

A scared and unsure person knows that things don't necessarily go swimmingly. They are looking for better, safer ways. They are, sensibly, frightened. That's the sort of person I'd like to be sending me off to war.

He knows that Saddam will not go without a fight. Therefore, a fight is going to happen if Saddam is to go. Saddam needs to go [any humanitarian person knows that]. He needs to go without waiting for nature to take its course 20 years from now, at which time Uday would take over for another half century, making matters worse.
