duuuhhhh are you brainless or been asleep the last few few decades? Our government has wanted to infiltrate the net from it's very beginning. TIA is Total Information Awareness. That's the push of our government now. They have departments with that goal in DoD (department of defense). This link at least shows the existence of the Information Awareness office in the DoD. Their goal is TIA. Privacy groups want to see that that never happens. epic.org epic.org Under Bush's new reorganization of the government which brings all intelligence gathering operations in every branch of service under one "intelligence tsar" who reports to the president, this DoD project is now linked to all others.
