" We have money to invade Iraq but we can't give medicine to our own citizens."

Excellent post. In Saturday's NYTimes, (P. B16), there is a picture of a guy who owns a
restaurant. He can afford to flush expensive French champagne
down the john to protest France's opposition to the war in Iraq.

Do you think he is another rich Bush Republican? If he really cared about Americans, why
didn't he donate the bottles of wine that he poured down a toilet to a charity. All over
the United States, you see hungry and sick people. This guy's must have modeled his
notion of compassion after George W. Bush.

PS: Here's an idea for you. Maybe, he never pushed down the handle on the toilet. Perhaps he scooped up the
expensive wines and champagne for his wife or girlfriend's bidet! I bet that is what
Dick Cheney would do!

Bush gives our money to the big corporations that gave him big campaign donations so,
like you say, everyone suffers.

Bush is so greedy for money for the defense budget and his war on Iraq
that he'll steal the food out of the mouths of America's school children.

"In the 2003 version of public squalor, cuts
are recommended in programs like
preschool Head Start and free school
lunches for poor kids. And the states
come under pressure to raise taxes for
basic needs while federal taxes are
reduced. "
