Well, perhaps "our troops" should ask themselves why the oil companies excutive's sons and daughters aren't fighting along side them? If our military was comprised of people from all economic backgrounds in our society, I'd be a much stronger supporter of them. However, I feel that they are being used by some rich and powerful people who are have their own agenda to take over Iraq's cheap oil. I came from a wealthy town. I didn't know anyone who came down with Gulf War illness, because they weren't the ones over there fighting. Unlike those poor souls I saw on TV who are now suffering and dying from their ailments. As much as I cringe at the idea, I think it's time to bring back the draft and force some of the privledged to serve their country. Perhaps that would make our leaders think twice next time they want to start a war, which would be a good thing in my opinion.
