Yes, Americans are warlike. At one time, about 40% of the U.S. population had German ancestors - now maybe 35%. People like Patton and Schwartzkopf.

I was thinking about buying a Heckler and Koch .45 Cal automatic - for homeland defense, of course. Now I'm conflicted. I don't think anyone at Heckler and Koch is a pacifist, of course.

I have a Sig Sauer (Swiss - German) .380 automatic which is beautiful...
