It's why we went to war against Iraq in 1991 and why we are about to go to war against them again. Oil is the most valuable commodity in the world today. Wars have been and will be fought over the control of the world's oil. I don't see us trying to end the bloody war in the congo that's going on at this very moment. Why? Because it's a bunch of black people fighting over nothing. There is no oil there of any consquence. So, the U.S. media and govt. ignores it. I hardly ever hear about the war in the Congo.
