Of course not. They are governments after all. They know the tools of the trade in the use of propaganda to make their position seem reasonable. You need to read between the lines. Of course they don't want the U.S. to take over Iraq and void all their oil deals. That would leave them out in the cold. They'd rather live with the devil they know then the devil they don't.
