He grew up on a huge ranch in Texas and has never had the slightest interest or inclination in seeing what other cultures or civilizations were all about To be accurate, Dubya grew up in the suburban enclave of a Texas oil town. Midland Tx. is where the families of the oil company managers live, Odessa is where families of the oil field ruffnecks live. Odessea/Permian wins all the football games, but after high school the Odessans have to ask those from Midland high for a job. Dubya's only connection to Texas cowboys was watching Gunsmoke. TP
