<<Do you think that's a fair situation for the Japanese people not to hear what America has to say?>>

I'm not sure fair is the term I'd use but is it the ideal setup? NO. Nothing about the game being played by all countries is ideal...including the game Saddam is playing. The reality of the situation is that it is what it is and we (you or I) can't change it. A decision was made on 9/11 that we have yet to deal with. I believe there are several countries that would assist Terrorists in doing it again and I believe Iraq is one of them. While I don't want the globe to fear us I do want countries that would otherwise support terrorist strikes against the USA to fear us. Consider it an offshoot of the scared straight campaign.

didn't c-span cover it?

didn't the newspapers cover it?

isn't it more an issue you have with the press and who they chose to cover?

if you're about to go to war with a country, if you're angry and frustrated with their behavior and policy, no, I don't think you have to sit and listen to what you would consider pure rhetoric
