Actually, I'd lay that one on Saudi Arabia, but they are our "friends". Saddam is a customer of North Korea as are several nations in the Middle East. North Korea makes a good SCUD missile system.

I suppose if Iraq is liberated and we buy oil from them instead of Saudi we in effect would cut off much of the financing for world wide terrorism.
