One reason I like multi-party systems so much, in general there is a party for everyone where they can further finetune and define their stuff among good buddies, as well as publicly declare and debate it. However, would probably (clearly) not work (yet) in USA, dangerous of there isn't a "viable" center party to offset the extremes (from playing balancing games with the major parties) Ilmarinen That is, a change to at least partially nation- or state-wide elections where even a small minority can achieve enough votes to get one or a few seats in congress. (not loose in every single seat district, if a candidate could become a candidate)
