When very, very important people get unhappy, they do something to make themselves happy again.

Why don’t the US, Russia, Venezuela, Nigeria and the Stans form a coalition to defeat OPEC. They could charge a few nickels more, finance the war which then might not be so open ended and everybody would be happy.

True. The Great Satan himself though is in the $8-a-barrel camp. No matter how the Iraq War turns out, if he doesn't hit close to that level soon enough, it's hello President Kerry.
