George Bush is not God and the United States is a country, just like any other country. There is no basis for George Bush to declare he is acting on behalf of God and there is no basis for the United States to declare that it is acting on behalf of the international community. The United States is on the verge of invading another country because it feels like so doing and because the United States has the weapons to kill enough people to force its will on another country -- without anything that approaches an internationally acceptable legal basis. The United States is about to commit a crime, and in so doing, the United States is giving up its status as a country to be respected and admired.
