Well, like I said, the U.S. is a great place to make a living. That's why so many immigrants try to come here. It's certainly been good to me financially. But, I can't describe how good it made me feel to be in Australia for three weeks. I mean those people are very friendly and polite. Canada too! It just makes you feel good about being alive.

The U.S. is a rat race. That's why our manners and friendliness are lacking. Everyone is out to get each other. It's a mad rush to Easy Street and somewhere along the way people lose sight of what is really important in life; family, good conversation, learning, traveling, politeness. Other countries are more geared towards enjoying the fruits of the labors and enjoying life. Even modestly paid Europeans save 10% of their earnings so they can travel. And they do get a chance to travel, since they get 4 or 5 weeks paid vacation.

The best of both worlds would be to make a fortune in the U.S. and move to Canada and Australia and enjoy your fortune with them.
