Virtually every nation gives lip service to the principle of respecting other nation's sovereignty.

But every soldier sent into every other nation, for any reason, is a violation of that principle. "Power comes out of the barrel of a gun."

There is an immense amount of rationalization, excuses, finessing, to try to get around this truth.
