It can happen. Why do you sell the U.S. short? We put a man on the moon within a decade. Why can't we kick the oil habit. Every technological innovation over the decades has received similar skeptical criticism. A hydrogen economy in our lifetime could be a reality. It already could be, but there are powerful vested interests (i.e. oil companies) who have a stake in maintaining the status quo.

'the appeal to the hydrogen fairy again.'

>>> Guess GM, DCX, Ford, UTX, GE, BP, Toyota, Ballard, etc., etc. are just pouring their billions down the drain for no reason then, huh?

>>> Personally, I'll bet on Capitalism and the Free Markets every time for making economically rational decisions.
