You've missed the point entirely, as well. I don't really expect you to leave your comfortable, well-padded chair and your computer screen view of the world and your hot cup of coffee and actually make an effort to express your views in the streets, because I can tell that you simply don't feel that strongly about them. I can't imagine why you would find a simple observation of fact to be insulting. Nor can I imagine why you would find any comfort or satisfaction in the activities of well-remunerated professional protestors acting as anybody's proxy, especially when the compensation for that activity is so well-documented. Everybody's just phoning in their lines, in a well-scripted charade of political action. Like a theme park of the days of yore, complete with tie-dye. What's next, a dues check-off on one's tax return, like the checkoff for presidential campaigns? Risk free, plastic wrapped, sanitized for your protection?
