Tightness of polls are quite unlike the wild "MY COUNTRY RIGHT OR WRONG" days of Vietnam, they ran a consistent 4-1 until say 1970--with "we must never question the Commander in Chief" mentality deeply ingrained in a major majority of the peoples head.
In this sense, there has been a shifting, there now is less of the Idiot Song My Country Right or Wrong screaming out. Max

Da Idiot has painted himself right into a corner by deployed massive troops and equipments way too early w/o getting full support from allies...taken Turkey for granted and gotten a wakeup call with a badly rejection.

Da Idiot has portrayed US to the tee as western cowboy gunslinger. As US citizen we have to stop this mad man from ruining this great country. Write to your congressman and demand a debate on the floors on the war issues.

<<Anyone that does not think Bush is a liar when he says he wants to avoid war with Iraq as he told the nation yesterday, simply has their head where the sun does not shine.>>

it is quite obvious that our president put himself in a position that war is imminent ... regardless of what happened
I think he has made a miscalculation of the number of countries that do not side with us, he was counting on the support of Russia and we don't get it ...
