Bush may end up spending a whole year on Iraq, plus 200 billion and how many lost lives. Yes Saddam is a bad guy, but c'mon, what a squandering of energy, money, lives and international goodwill. Meanwhile, our economy burns, not just here but around the world. I really "appreciate" the $2 plus gas prices too. Good work, GW. Great for the economy. He promised to "fix" our energy problems. Boy, has he ever.

Ted RE... think for a long time people wanted to believe in him out of patriotism. However, its hard to ignore all the mistakes........even the most hardened patriot has to see we are in trouble.

What kind of trouble. Do you actually think we can't defeat Irag without Frances help. I would think the Iraqi know already how to give up without a fight. Do you think the French will cut us off from imported wine and water. Oouch, that really hurts. Foreign trade? Actually that has been in trouble for a long time, with both ratcheting up their tariffs for yrs. Yes a trade war will hurt both sides, but it isn't like it wasn't coming? It will just get here sooner, rather than later.
