Great article!

>>In an open letter sent to major media outlets this week, more than two dozen professors, journalists and authors warned, "This is no time for relying solely on official sources and their supporters.<<

>>Those who signed the protest letter include retired Times columnist Tom Wicker; a former reporter at the paper, William Serrin; Ben Bagdikian, former dean of the journalism school at the University of California at Berkeley; author Studs Terkel; independent journalist and filmmaker Barbara Koeppell; and author and politician Ralph Nader.<<

>>"The first thing US readers need to do is stop reading the US corporate media," said Jeanne Strole at the Independent Media Center (IMC) in New York. "They should start reading the foreign press - British, French, Spanish, Arabic - anything other than the goddamn US corporate media."<<

>>More and more Americans are waking up to the fact that the US corporate-mainstream media has been bought and paid for."<<

Never thought possible the mainstream news media in the US has become very much like Pravda and People's Daily. This is definitely a very interesting era. Things have ways of equalization, just part of human nature which is still the most powerful force of them all. It's not humanly possible for one group to transcend above everyone else. Throughout history empires have risen and eventually fall. We are still run by humans. Every dog has its days. Even Mama Bear Gail Dudack who missed one of the greatest bull market ever and still look like a star, as much as Abby Cohen's supertanker has in retrospect become a mirage in the ocean.

Yeh, sure. America has the best, more accountable, most honest news media in the world.

Of course, the enemies of America don't want Americans to read, or watch, the free, diverse, and competitive American news media. Enemies of America want Americans to read the slanted, government controlled, overseas news.

Most Americans are smarter, than to fall for propaganda like that. Makes me wonder why PartyTime, would want to post antiAmerican propaganda, like that?
