we can't expect any enemy army we face to respect the Geneva Conventions, when they capture U.S. soldiers.

IF the TV media is to be believed, theres reportedly a US soldier who was captured in Gulf War I, who is believed to be still alive, and who has not been returned to US authorities by Iraqi authorities.

IF true, its 12 years gone... no resolution. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name, but I can't at the moment.

What signatory to the Geneva Convention claims these men as soldiers of its army?
