Sue just got her new Discover Cards so I tried to call to get them activated. 50 times yesterday and every time the line was busy. So I tried at 5 this morning, punched in the 16 digits like I was told to do. Then the recording said I had to call back after 7. I called, punched in the 16 digits and was told to hold. A guy comes on and wants to know the card number, sheesh. Then he wants to know her SS#, that I had to look up, then her birthday. What a pain. SS#. Now all the doctors and dentists won't treat you unless you give them your SS#, even if you've been going to them for years. Some of those forms get pretty damned intrusive. Do you have a gun in your home? What's that have to do with getting my teeth cleaned?
