You are sounding like a Limbaugh clone. So Kerry and Kennedy have similar voting records, so does every senator with a senator from his own party. Few exceptions. Kerry voted for the Iraq resolution, Kennedy strongly against. Kerry does not support Kennedy's #1 priority, nationalized health care. Kerry differs from Kennedy on other issues and will continue to do so going into the future.

Do you have anything else to say besides this one point? If not let's talk about the many bills Kerry-McCain have co-sponsored, those which are Kerry's priorities. Or the many votes Kerry has shared wioth moderate Republicans. And the great respect Kerry has earned on both sides of the aisle over the years for being a brilliant, honest, tough straight-shooter.
