"France has neither winter nor summer nor morals. It has usually been governed by prostitutes. Apart from these drawbacks it is a fine country."
---Mark Twain

"I just love the French. They taste like chicken!"
---- Hannibal Lecter

"I would rather have a German division in front of me than a French one behind me."
--- General George S. Patton

Next time there's a war in Europe, the loser has to keep France.

An old saying:
Raise your right hand if you like the French....
Raise both hands if you are French.

Re: The French are in the process of riding the UN to irrelevance....

How inaccurate and hypocritical... When it comes to sorting out a crisis in Africa, the UN is relevant, when it comes to clean up the mess in Yugoslavia, the UN is relevant, when it's about Afghanistan, the UN is relevant... but when the issue is connected to Israel --as the current Iraq crisis is-- then, all of a sudden, Israel and her American sugar daddy deem the UN "irrelevant". For the past 50 years, the enforcement of UN resolutions, the application of international law, the usefulness of UN peacekeepers, have always stopped at the Israeli/Palestinian borders... Do Judeo-Protestants consider themselves above international law? Do they believe that multilateral agreements are only good enough for the euros and third-world primitives?
