KT, I wonder why not pull our troops out of Korea ?. I would tell North Korea if they invade we will cease all trade with the conquered South Korea and those nations that trade with a conquered Korea will also lose access to our markets. Let China & Russia worry about it. US manufacturing has been subjected to enough economic violence already. The only winners from the financial orgy of the 90s will end up being the Wall St elite and the corporate elite - everyone else loses big time. Mike

Maybe it's discussed elsewhere already (I have about 80 posts to read), but Wall Street Week was actually good on Friday because they had the economist Modigliani who said with a certain quiet weariness that P/Es were too high and the market had a long way to go down, and other cautious things. His grand-daughter was more optimistic (being inexperienced).
